Art In The Park - and Gratitude

As I sit here in the wee hours of the morning listening to the rain pelting down, I can’t help but be thankful for the wonderful sunshine and warm temperatures we had for the Vermilion Art in The Park Yesterday.

What a great event The GoodLife Institute puts on each year. From the set up of the event to the free lunch and fresh baked on site cinnamon buns this is a first class event. (Thankyou to their sponsor Inter Pipeline).

Most of all i am so grateful for the support and acknowledgment of the many people that visited my tent and those that took a piece-or two- of my art home with them. As an artist, sales are important, but the best part is meeting so many people who fall in love with my artwork and express a genuine interest in knowing the process of encaustic. I am so appreciative of all of you and can’t wait to do it again next year.
