Just a short blog post to update you on what's happening in the studio. I have been taking a creative break over the last several months which I would highly recommend! Lately I have been feeling like getting into the studio again.

I have some of my encaustic work on display in the Upper Level Pottery and Art Gallery.

Heather has created a beautiful artisan space upstairs in the old Craigs building - for those of us who grew up in Vermilion, it is fascinating to see the old clothing and toy section turned into this bright beautiful space with lovely big windows. It is the perfect artisan gallery.

I am thrilled to be in the company of so many talented artists and artisans. If you are in Vermilion, make sure to pop in to see the gallery.

To that end, Heather has organized an Art Walk for Saturday Sept 26 1-4 on mainstreet Vermilion. I will be outside Longs Drug Store with some of my work and I will be painting in cold wax and oils - a relatively new medium to me. Drop by and see me and my art and wander around to see the other artisans on mainstreet. And take a moment to drop into the gallery!
